Tongs first came to my attention during the tender period. From the off Sacha and Kai immersed themselves in the details of the project and were thoroughly professional and very proactive. The project was extremely challenging on many fronts, a tight programme, quirky building layout, multiple specialist services along with a very complex design which presented us with many problems on a daily basis. TES attitude towards all of this was excellent at every level. They were always positive and full of ideas. They are technically very competent, commercially aware and delivered first class workmanship with a smile on their faces. Sacha was as much at home at the workface with his team as he was sat in one of the many team or client meetings I asked him to attend with me. I have worked with many sub-contractors over the years and can comfortably say that working with Tongs Electrical Services has been by far the best experience.

Kai and Sacha Tong, two brothers from Bristol, formed the business in 2014. Both electricians, they decided to combine their individual experience and go into partnership. They started the company from their bedrooms at their mum’s house; though their beginnings were humble, joining forces and taking people on meant they were able to win bigger and bigger projects – and delight clients while they were at it.
Today, Tongs have good relationships with regional and national contractors, and employ large teams to deliver high-quality work. The size of the business may have grown, but the brothers’ outlook remains the same: bring solutions not problems, work with a smile, and be available for clients.
