Bath Spa University invested in transforming an old factory into an inspiring space for art and design students. A Grade II listed building, the architecture was originally designed by Sir Nicholas Grimshaw. The refurbishment pays respect to the original space while giving this iconic building a new lease of life.
Tongs first came to my attention during the tender period. From the off Sacha and Kai immersed themselves in the details of the project and were thoroughly professional and very proactive. The project was extremely challenging on many fronts, a tight programme, quirky building layout, multiple specialist services along with a very complex design which presented us with many problems on a daily basis. TES attitude towards all of this was excellent at every level. They were always positive and full of ideas. They are technically very competent, commercially aware and delivered first class workmanship with a smile on their faces. Sacha was as much at home at the workface with his team as he was sat in one of the many team or client meetings I asked him to attend with me. I have worked with many sub-contractors over the years and can comfortably say that working with Tongs Electrical Services has been by far the best experience.
